The Liebherr family business was established in 1949 by Hans Liebherr.
The decentrally organized Liebherr Group is divided into company units of manageable size, operating independently. The Liebherr Group’s holding company is Liebherr-International AG in Bulle, Switzerland, which is entirely owned by members of the Liebherr family. The family business is already in the hands of the second generation.
Liebherr’s programme of domestic appliances is noted for its brilliant concept, modern design and well-planned solutions for optimum user convenience. It includes table-top, free-standing and combined refrigerators and freezers, freezer chests, food storage and drink cooling refrigerators, wine cooling and wine-temperature control cabinets as well as refrigerators and freezers for commercial use.
